In the photis, it may not look like much, but that's after barely using it on my cat. I have realized that it's best to use this after using the hooked claw metal detangler on her, that way her fur won't snag. That's mostly for near her butt and tummy but for the more shallow sections, using this by itself works great while she's a short hair, her fur lays flat, so it's longer than it looks. This comb is good by itself, but i suggest a detangler along side this if your cat looks sleek instead of fuzzy.
